Our company, KeConnect Group Limited ("KeConnect"), was acquired by Timico in March 2007. KeConnect is an IP Communications services business that provides over 6,000 broadband connections and a full suite of internet communication solutions including ADSL, domain names and point-to-point connectivity to a predominantly B2B customer base.

We founded KeConnect in 1995, and it has grown rapidly, profitably and is well positioned in the B2B space including having exclusive relationships with over 300 specialist computer outlet dealers. Due to our success, we were approached regarding a possible acquisition in 2006 by Timico, who has an objective of becoming a leading player in the converged B2B space and strengthening its presence in the SoHo/Prosumer sector. We engaged Westchester soon after being approached by Timico due to their depth of experience in the IP Communications sector and their reputation in the UK market.

Westchester proceeded to assist us in the negotiation of the purchase price, transaction structure, overall heads of terms and the completion of the transaction. They were "always available" throughout the process and worked with us and with Timico to ensure that the negotiations proceeded smoothly and never became adversarial.
